Picked up my car a month ago and the whole experience was spot on. Huge shout out to Chris in sales—he made the initial buying process super easy and stress-free. I did have a bit of a nightmare when a fault cropped up shortly after, but that’s where they really impressed me. Leanne in customer care was amazing; she didn't give me the runaround at all. She sorted out a local garage to get it fixed quickly so I didn't have to drive all the way back to them. Really happy with the car and the way they looked after me when it counted. Definitely recommend these guys!

I travelled from Bolton to Barnsley for my new Alfa, and Chris made it so easy from the second I enquired online about a part-ex, to driving away in the car a week later. Very good experience

Had a very good experience with anycolourcar.com. We traded in our car for a newer one and it was all done via telephone and email as we were some distance away. Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable and not pushy in any way. When we arrived the car was ready and waiting. Chris was very patient and helped us with the paperwork. Excellent car dealership.

It will be one year next month since we bought our first EV from this company, see my wife’s review on 17th February 2025 for more details about the purchase experience. We have been delighted with the car and would give special mention to Lewis and Leanne who have been extremely helpful in our dealings with Anycolourcar. Driving the EV has cut our running costs to about 25% of what we were spending on petrol! I would thoroughly recommend Anycolourcar when considering buying a car.

Our son in law recommended that we look at an EV from Anycolourcar which was keenly priced. We had never had or driven an EV before so had a test drive at the Nissan dealership in Newcastle upon Tyne. The test drive was fine and the salesman naturally tried to sell us one of their vehicles. We showed him a photo of the car from Anycolourcar and the price but he couldn’t match the deal on offer from Anycolourcar. He actually phoned us about a week after we bought the car and said I quote “ you’ve got a stonking deal there”. The purchase was basically all arranged by phone and email. We traded in our car with Anycolourcar and drove down to their showroom near Barnsley to collect our EV. On arrival the staff were all very pleasant and professional, the paperwork was completed and we drove back up to Northumberland in our new car. We really enjoyed driving our first EV and it has saved us a lot of money in running costs in the eleven months since we bought it. I would recommend Anycolourcar to anyone considering buying a new car.

I bought my Skoda karoq a few months ago and the whole experience was an absolute pleasure. I’ve always hated the process and usually you get a salesman with the hard sell, following you around and pushing for a sale. Not here though. There no pressure guarantee is true. Take your time, think about your decision and any advice on the car and everyone there is so knowledgable and helpful. After sales is the same way. They really look after you here. I cannot recommend this place enough. In fact I have done, many times and family had also bought from here since. This is how customer service should be done

Presales service was good; after collection it became apparent that not everything was as it should be. On contacting the garage I was disappointed to find that they were initially not willing to help rectify the issue, however after some further correspondence with Johnathan the issue was resolved to my satisfaction .

I can’t be more pleased with my purchase from any colour car. What a fantastic place to buy a car. I hate buying cars, usually the whole experience turns into a big upsell with pressure at every turn. But not here. I arrived after a bank holiday with no appointment. Lewis looked after me and although short handed they sorted me a test drive. Jonathan the director came and spoke to me, valued my car for part exchange and was very open and honest and gave me well over £1000 more than I’d been offered at the big car supermarkets and really appreciated how I’d looked after my car. I went away to think about the car i wanted to buy, but by 6pm I’d already decided I wanted it. From then it was a breeze. The finance quote was a much lower apr than anywhere else. They sorted everything out in no time. I picked up my car 2 days later in immaculate condition. Full service and valet and a ceramic coating. I really can’t praise this place enough and will be back next year for a service and MOT without a doubt.

Great place to purchase next car

Bought my second ever car from here, moving from a Seat Ibiza to an Ateca. Every part of the process was easy, from test drive to purchase. They worked to a tighter deadline to ensure I could have the car ready for my holiday - I drove my new car over 4 hours for my first trip out in it and nothing went wrong! Car was in perfect condition and still is 6 months later. Would highly recommend.

Needed to sell a company vehicle but we had had our fingers burned in the past with seemingly generous online valuations which were then mysteriously reduced for all kinds of trivial, inexplicable reasons. Thought we'd try anycolourcar.com as they were new to the area and the experience was friendly, efficient and pain-free. The price they quoted was the price they paid - no quibbling or negotiating. Selling a car for my daughter.

After my daughter set of on her travels around the Middle East, she left me the task of selling her car, which she left behind with some stone chips and minor damage, but otherwise in good condition. I sent the details and they offered me a great price for the car. The service from start to finish was excellent and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We were directed to the company by our son in law who has had dealings with the company. He pointed out a Nissan Leaf on the company website which he felt was a very good buy. We decided to go for it and, bearing in mind we had never had an EV had lots of questions to ask. We drove down to the company’s premises to trade in our vehicle and collect the new car. Lewis dealt with us on our arrival and he was very professional and helpful in answering all our questions. The only niggle was that on getting home we realised that the mats mentioned in the advert online were not in the car and we had left our car mats in our old trade in car. I have contacted the company regarding this and was told that these would be posted to us as we live in Northumberland. As yet no mats have been delivered but as we only mentioned this a couple of days ago I expect them to be delivered soon. Massive shout out to Lewis for helping me with my new Ranger (purchased March 2024). Absolute top class customer service right from my initial contact. There was no pressure sales like I got from main dealerships in previous purchases. I was sent a highly detailed video of the vehicle I was looking to buy, from front to back showing all the fixtures and fittings even the small bodywork faults. This was really helpful as all I had to do was turn up and test drive. Another great experience! The showroom was spotless, even the toilet facilities were 5*. Every single member of staff said hello and engaged in conversation whilst I was completing the paperwork. I got a free 6 month warranty with the option to extend if I wanted. Overall this was an excellent experience for me I would encourage anyone who is looking to buy a car go here even if it’s just for the experience of the showroom and quality customer service!

Firstly I must say that Chris and the whole team were very professional and friendly. I made it clear that I had done some research and was aware of what my car was valued at. They gave me an offer that, I believe, was fair and I never felt that we were going back and forth with unrealistic figures for both my vehicle and the one I purchased. This can often be the part of buying a car that "puts me off" the seller and tarnishes the experience. Collection was, surprisingly, swift. Maybe a little too swift, where I thought that the car could have had a little more "love" in preparation for the collection. It was close to Christmas and there were lots of cars on the premises so I had to park on the curb outside where there wasn't much room and also on a bend. This wasn't a major, issue but this and the slightly rushed handover did bring my rating down from 5 stars to be a 4.5. The staff and the dealer, as a whole, were great to deal with and the prices were very competitive. I would have no hesitation recommending purchasing a vehicle from them as they have a great and varied choice and the experience was virtually flawless. This is how car shopping and purchasing can be done.

I bought a Focus ST Mk4 2.3 and on the way home the exhaust sensor warning light came up on the dashboard. Communication was great between us and the company. They sorted everything out their side of work and everything was hassle free for us. They made sure to book our vehicle in to the closest garej for us to make travelling less expensive and easier and they double checked the date of booking to make sure we were available. Numerous dashboard faults came up a week within buying.

Car had numerous faults car was sent to garage to be rectified but faults kept coming back on the MIL. It came to the MOT and numerous faults came up relating to the problem I had noticed them off costing nearly £2000 to repair. The company refused to pay for the cost of getting the car MOT worthy. I would not trust this company again.

An effortless experience

I saw a car on autotrader, got in touch with anycolourcar on the Wednesday and drove the car home on the Friday from the Barnsley showroom. The whole experience with them was effortless, every interaction I had with a member of staff was a friendly one and at no point did I feel as though I was being pushed into anything. Even when I declined a paint care package add on there was no more mention of it. The car was in immaculate condition and was exactly as advertised. They didn’t have a spare key for the car so I drove it away with 1 key, however within a week of owning the car they had organised for a company to come out to my house to code me a spare key all fully paid for by anycolourcar which I just think is top class customer service. I had previously bought a car from a different company a few years ago that also had no spare key and was told that they would sort it all out for me within a few weeks (this was a bigger company with multiple branches nationwide) however it took 6 months of chasing them before finally getting the spare key but even then they tried to get me to pay for it myself and I had to go to a VW main dealer for it to be done - the experience with anycolourcar couldn’t have been any different. Overall a really top quality company who really do seem to genuinely care about their customers experience and I cannot recommend them highly enough and will definitely be using them the next time I’m in the market for a car.

Fabulous experience with this company. We spotted the car online and went to see it. Alex, who’s lovely! dealt with us and pointed out any flaws. The car was sent to the body shop and despite being 8 years old came back like new. They went above and beyond to make it look mint. Paul (Alex’s dad) is great too, very friendly and even went to put some petrol in for us at his expense! Chris did our handover and also a lovely guy. He was professional yet friendly and made the paperwork process very easy without any hard sell of ‘extras’. Everyone is friendly and helpful, no pressurised selling.
